Several hundred supporters of Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital gathered at the beautiful Lexus Landmark Showroom in Santa Monica to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital and to honor James V. Luck, Jr., M.D., who stepped down as president and chief executive officer in October. Among the guests were Renee and Meyer Luskin, generous benefactors to both UCLA and Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital.

Heartfelt tributes to Dr. Luck were provided by Mr. Luskin, as well as Automobile Club of Southern California CEO Tom McKernan and LAOH Interim President and CEO Anthony Scaduto, M.D. The event was emceed by LAOH Board of Directors Chairman Michael Lombardi, President Stonebridge Holdings. Additional speakers were Event Co-Chair Dr. Robert R. Dockson, retired Chairman and CEO, California Federal Bank; Edward (Ned) D. Fox, LAOH Board of Directors, Co-Chairman LAOH Board of Trustees and Chairman of Vantage Property Investors, LLC; and Christopher C. Martin, LAOH Board of Directors, Co-Chairman Board of Trustees and CEO, AC Martin Partners, Inc. Another highlight of the event was the premiere of "Portraits of Our Work,"a video featuring current and former LAOH patients.
